Good resources, but slow delivery

I bought The Autoimmune Protocol e-book and also the Healing Kitchen Cookbook from the store last month. The content itself is very thorough and has been helpful for my AIP journey, which is why I keep coming back to Dr. Ballantyne's work. The information is well-researched and easy to understand. I got the e-books almost instantly after purchase, which was great. However, I also ordered a physical copy of the Healing Kitchen Cookbook, and that took a full 10 days to arrive, which felt a bit long for a domestic shipment. Customer service was responsive when I inquired about the shipping status, but it would be better if the estimated delivery times were more accurate upfront. Overall, good value for the educational materials, but they could improve on physical product shipping speed.

Helpful e-book bundle

I bought one of the Paleo Mom e-book bundles a few weeks ago. It had a ton of useful information for starting out with paleo. The download process was smooth. It's a lot to take in, but it's all there. Definitely worth the price for everything included.

Easy to find what I needed

I just needed some info on AIP so I grabbed the AIP Quick Start Guide. It was super easy to download and get going. Found what I was looking for right away. No fuss, no drama. Came through my email fast. Good stuff.

How do I know if the content from The Paleo Mom is actually, like, scientifically sound? Are they just making stuff up?

M Matt Rivera 2 days ago
Nah, Dr. Ballantyne is a legit scientist, PhD and all. She always backs up her info with research. That's why I trusted her stuff so much.

Her work is pretty well-researched. That's one of the main reasons she's so respected in the AIP/Paleo community, actually.

Hey, wondering if anyone knows if the AIP Lecture Series ever goes on sale? It's a bit pricey for me right now.

D Danielle Moore 3 weeks ago
Yeah, they do sometimes. I got it last year around Black Friday, I think it was like 20% off. Keep an eye on their newsletter, that's usually where they announce stuff like that.

They definitely have discounts on it occasionally. I remember seeing a promo for it linked from one of their email blasts. Not super often, but it happens.

Hey, does The Paleo Mom usually have a big Black Friday sale? Trying to decide if I should wait to buy a few things.

W William Lopez 4 days ago
They definitely have sales around then, usually for the digital bundles. I've seen 15-25% off sometimes.

Yeah, November and December are peak times for them. Good chance you'll find something discounted for Black Friday or Cyber Monday.

Are there any discounts for healthcare workers or students? I'm a student nurse and every little bit helps.

O Olivia Allen 2 weeks ago
I've seen them offer student discounts before, especially for the bigger courses or memberships. Check their site or email list, they sometimes announce those.

I think they do sometimes! I remember seeing a student discount mentioned a while back. Not sure about healthcare workers specifically, but it's worth sending an email to ask.

I'm trying to decide between buying some resources from The Paleo Mom or checking out Nom Nom Paleo. Anyone have thoughts on which is better for starting AIP?

J Jessica H. 3 weeks ago
They're a bit different. Paleo Mom is more about the science and in-depth understanding, while Nom Nom Paleo is more recipe-focused. If you want to really learn *why* you're doing AIP, go with Paleo Mom. For just yummy food, Nom Nom Paleo is great.

Totally depends what you need. If you're looking for the foundational knowledge and detailed guides for AIP, Paleo Mom is your spot. Nom Nom Paleo is fantastic for cooking once you have the basics down.
